When Steve finished working Friday we drove into Paris to visit with his cousins for the weekend.
Friday night we had a bistro meal "en terrasse" at L'Arrosoir in the Faubourg-Saint-Antoine area. I love that Parisians eat outside when ever possible, even throughout the winter with the use of over head heaters and heavy plastic tent-like walls that enclose the patios.
The restaurant is in the Arts Viaduct-

We walked along to see a few of the shops but we did not go above to see the gardens as it was pretty late. A return visit to the viaduct is on my list for other trips to Paris.

We got to see the swarms of rollerbladers who get to blade with abandon throughout Paris one Friday night a month when the city closes down streets and intersections for them as they pass through. It was a very cool sight. There were many hundreds of bladers that passed right at the corner where we were having dinner.
More on the weekend later...
